Our philosophy of ministry: Servants in the sanctuary
Our ministry is one that undergirds the public worship at SWUC. The ministry supports three services of worship per week. It comprises men and women who serve week after week in and  around the sanctuary, from door stewards to communion servers to readers of scripture to overhead display operators to the worship team, and many others.
Each of these Christ-followers are humble servants seeking to bring glory to God in and through the part that they play in the body of Christ.
A recent addition to our Ministry, that we are very excited about, is our Prayer Ministry which we call ‘At the foot of the Cross’. This ministry is offered at the close of our two Sunday morning Services. Worshippers are invited to come to the foot of the Cross with one of our Prayer Ministers and share together in their prayer need.
